Adam and Eve
For six marvellous days running God created something beautiful and new. First of all was Light. Then He created the blue skies, oceans, mountains and fields, the waving trees the sun, moon and stars, the fishes, birds and all the animals’ great and small. On the last day, the seventh day He rested, and saw that all things which He had created were good.
On the sixth day God made man in His own image, and later on gave him a splendid garden to live in. He even gave him an attractive wife. The man and the women were called Adam and Eve. A river flowed through the beautiful garden which was called Eden. There were lots of wonderful trees of many different types. At midday the sunlight trickled through boughs loaded with fruits, apricots, oranges, grapes to name a few.
Adam and Eve could eat all the fruit in the garden except the fruit of the tree which grew in the middle of the others and was called the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Near to this tree was another tree called the Tree of Life. Nobody knows what these trees looked like, but they must have appeared good with tempting fruit.
We know that the Tree of Knowledge was beautiful to look at, whilst the Tree of Life stood by itself in a hushed holy place. One day Eve was near the tree when she heard a rustling, and before long she saw the head of a large snake. It spoke to her and enquired why she was not collecting the elegant fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, which was the best fruit of all the trees. “God told us not too,” she said. “What would happen to you if you disobeyed him do you think?” asked the serpent. “We should certainly die,” replied Eve.
“Surely not,” the serpent said with a wicked gleam in his eyes. “God knows that if you eat of the fruit, you will be great and powerful, as He is. That is the reason why you can not eat it.” Eve looked at the fruit hanging there on the tree. Eve wanted to obey God, but for some reason the temptation was too strong. She pulled off some of the fruit and ate it guiltily, when Adam came along she gave him some also and he ate.
Once they had finished eating they looked at one another. And all of a sudden, they were miserable and sorry and ashamed. They went to the other end of the garden away from the tree and the serpent. At the end of the day when God walked in the Garden He called to Adam and Eve as He always did. But Adam and Eve were hiding amongst the bushes.
God called to them and asked, “Why are you hiding?” Adam replied, “Because we are unhappy and ashamed.” God knew before Adam spoke that they had eaten the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, nothing else would have taken their joy and happiness away. He was very grieved and displeased, and told them that they could no longer stay in the garden for He could not trust them. He also punished the snake and said, “From today you will all of the time crawl on your belly and eat up the dust of the ground.” Adam and Eve departed sorrowfully from the garden and God assigned angels to guard the entrance to the garden and the Tree of Life so the man and women could not return.

Can someone please help me about this Bible story on which part of the bible can it be found?
THe story goes that Jesus saw a group of people about to stone a woman to death because of her impurity. Jesus then intervened, claiming that the only people that could throw a stone in this woman is that if that person issinless. The crowd then goes to leave.
What chapter and verse of the bible is this? I need this on a paper I've been writing. Thank you.
John chapter 8 - but the story is not quite as you describe.
Understanding some background will help you to understand the account.
1) It was contrary to Mosaic Law for anyone who was not a duly appointed judge to render judgment in a legal case
2) It was illegal under Roman law to execute anyone without sentence of execution being passed by a Roman judge
So, by both Mosaic Law and Roman Law, if Jesus had rendered judgment in this case, he would have violated the law - a very serious law with very serious consequences under both systems. Under Mosaic Law, for example, someone not a judge who passed a sentence of death was guilty of murder!
The officials were trying to trick Jesus into "taking on airs" and passing legal judgment *despite* the fact that Jesus had been given no legal authority to pass such judgment. His response, regardless of how full of meaning (bringing home the sinfulness of the crowd), was to refuse to pass judgment.
The process for such cases as required under Mosaic Law
* the accused - both man and woman - must be brought to trial
* at least two witnesses must testify during the trial that the accused are guilty of the crime
* the judge then must determine the pair's innocence or guilt
* if guilty, the judge must pass sentence
* if and only if the judge passes a sentence of death, the pair may be legally executed. Without that legal sentence, those killing the supposed adulteress are considered murderers - which is an executable offense.
Understanding how the process is *supposed* to work clarifies what was actually going on in John 8.
