How do I clean a silverfinish coffee table?

I just bought a really nice silverfinish coffee table from Lee Longlands. It's wooden but it has some kind of metallic-looking coating of paint all over it. Thing is, I don't have a clue how to clean it and I don't want to damage the finish. Do I just clean it with a damp cloth, or polish, or what?

I would use nothing more than a microfiber cloth and water. Microfiber cloths clean without chemicals.

I wouldn't risk using any chemical on the coffee table...even plain vinegar could damage the silver.

Just clean with a damp microfiber and buff dry with a dry microfiber.

You can buy microfiber cloths just about anywhere these days...Walmart, Target, K-mart, Home Depot, even Dollar General.
